Quarterbacks:

  • Tua Tagovailoa: Struggled in Week 15 without both starting tackles, leading to significant pressure issues. Tagovailoa faces another difficult matchup in Week 16 against the 49ers' pass rush (read more).

  • Bo Nix: Ranks as QB7 since Week 6. Leading a high-powered Denver offense that averaged 34.8 points per game during their four-game win streak (read more).

  • Jared Goff: Passed for less than 150 yards in his only outdoor game this season. Projected to throw for less than 240 passing yards in Week 16 against the Bears (read more).

  • Anthony Richardson: Salvaged a poor passing performance against the Broncos by rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown. Has an advantageous Week 16 matchup against the Titans, who allow the sixth-most rushing yards per game to quarterbacks (read more).

  • Russell Wilson: Struggled last week against the Eagles, recording his lowest yardage since becoming Pittsburgh's starter. Ravens matchup is favorable as their secondary has been allowing over 280 passing yards and 20+ fantasy points on average to QBs (read more).

Running Backs:

  • Joe Mixon: Showing concerning trend with under 50 rushing yards in 3 of last five games. Faces tough matchup against Chiefs defense that allows fewest fantasy points to RBs (read more).

  • Kimani Vidal: Saw a significant increase in playing time in Week 15, recording a season-high 67% of snaps. Despite only having five touches, Vidal's increased snap count suggests growing trust from the coaching staff (read more).

  • James Conner: Has a favorable matchup against the Panthers' 32nd-ranked run defense in Week 16. Despite struggling in recent weeks compared to his early season form, Conner is expected to find plenty of running room (read more).

  • Rico Dowdle: Has been outstanding recently, leading all RBs in rushing yards (392), yards after contact (283), and missed tackles forced (16) over the last three weeks. Long-term value is questionable as he approaches age 27 and unrestricted free agency in 2025 (read more).

  • Jerome Ford: Ford returns to the lead role for Cleveland following Nick Chubb's season-ending broken foot. In his five healthy games without Chubb earlier this season, Ford averaged 11.94 fantasy points per game (read more).

  • Isiah Pacheco: Usage has declined since returning from injury, sharing equal snaps (28 or 37%) with Kareem Hunt. Both Pacheco and Hunt received identical usage with 13 rush attempts and one target each last week (read more).

Wide Receivers:

  • Terry McLaurin: Faces Eagles defense that has been dominant against WRs since Week 5 bye. Previously struggled against Eagles with just one catch for 10 yards in their last matchup (read more).

  • Jameson Williams: Favorable matchup against the Bears who run single-high coverage at a league-high rate of around 40%. Expected to put up similar numbers to Jordan Addison's recent performance (7 receptions, 63 yards) with a good chance of finding the end zone in Week 16 (read more).

  • Ladd McConkey: Has recorded either 100 yards or a touchdown in three of his last four games. Patrick Surtain II is unlikely to shadow McConkey in the slot, giving him a favorable matchup (read more).

  • Courtland Sutton: Since Week 6, Sutton has elevated to WR13 in points per game with seven straight games of at least eight targets. Sutton commands an elite 26% target share and ranks eighth in the NFL with a 40% air yards share (read more).

  • Calvin Ridley: With Mason Rudolph taking over as starting QB, Ridley's outlook could improve based on previous chemistry - he was WR17 during Rudolph's three-start stretch with a 15-target, 10-catch, 143-yard performance (read more).

  • Jerry Jeudy: His fantasy value takes a major hit with Dorian Thompson-Robinson named Week 16 starter. DTR averaged only 3.9 yards per pass attempt in parts of eight games last season, severely impacting Jeudy's outlook for fantasy playoffs (read more).

  • D.K. Metcalf: Averaging just 7.6 Half-PPR points per game since returning from MCL injury. Maintains strong usage with 20% target share and leads team with 41% air yards share (read more).

  • Deebo Samuel: Has been struggling significantly in recent games, failing to exceed 22 receiving yards in five consecutive games (read more).

  • Cooper Kupp: Prior to Week 15, he averaged 9.1 targets per game and a 34% target share from Weeks 8-14. Despite the concerning performance, his elite usage numbers make him difficult to bench for most fantasy teams (read more).

  • Amari Cooper: Finished fourth among Buffalo receivers in snaps played and received zero targets in Week 15. Cooper's reduced role coincided with returns of Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman to lineup (read more).

Tight Ends:

  • Brenton Strange: Recorded an impressive 11 catches on 12 targets with 82% snap participation last week. Averaging 4.6 receptions in 5 games without Engram this year. Boasts a 2.16 YPRR, better than established TEs Sam LaPorta and Mark Andrews (read more).

  • Ben Sinnott: Ranked as the No. 2 tight end in his rookie class behind Brock Bowers according to the article's TE Model. He demonstrated impressive college stats with a 4.0% drop rate on 73 targets and ranked third with 14 broken tackles. Potential Year 2 breakout candidate (read more).

  • Trey McBride: has the most receptions (86) and receiving yards (963) in a season without scoring a touchdown (read more).

  • Stone Smartt: Posted season-highs with 6 targets, 5 receptions, and 50 yards against the Buccaneers in Week 15. Stepped up as the primary tight end with Will Dissly and Hayden Hurst out. Expected to maintain starting role for Week 16 Thursday Night Football game against the Broncos (read more).

  • Noah Gray: Has recorded at least 5 targets in four of his last five games, with exactly four receptions in four straight games. Has scored four touchdown receptions in his last four games. Leads all Kansas City pass-catchers except Kelce in red-zone targets over the last four weeks with six (read more).
