Rookie spotlight: Dylan Sampson (RB)
Giddy up.

QB - Kirk Cousins
Cousins expressed uncertainty about his future with the Falcons, stating the situation will become clearer in March
Despite recent struggles and being replaced by Michael Penix Jr., Cousins believes he still has 'a lot of good football left'
Currently focused on recovery and getting healthy following his injury
RB - Nick Chubb
At age 29, Chubb is suggested to be better suited for a backup role following devastating injuries
Potential landing spots include the Las Vegas Raiders or returning to Browns on a team-friendly deal
The article recommends trading Chubb away for a second-year running back
WR - Jayden Higgins 👶
Higgins is compared to a better version of Allen Lazard, showing strong route-running ability despite his 6'4" frame
While lacking elite speed, Higgins excels at horizontal-breaking routes in all areas of the field and shows skill in contested catch situations
The article suggests Higgins could develop into a team's WR2, particularly if he lands with a strong-armed quarterback
WR - Chris Olave
Olave's 2023 season ended early after suffering his fourth concussion in three years, missing the final 10 weeks
The 24-year-old has maintained strong performance metrics, never posting lower than 24% target per route run rate or 2.18 yards per route run
Currently ranked as WR23 on KTC, article suggests market has overreacted to concussion concerns
Maintains solid situation as WR1 on Saints with a decent quarterback and no immediate competition
Article recommends buying Olave before his value rebounds once he confirms his return for 2025
TE - Elijah Arroyo 👶
Elijah Arroyo demonstrated impressive performance throughout Senior Bowl week, establishing himself as arguably the best route-runner among tight ends
While showing some weakness in blocking, particularly in the running game, Arroyo proved his potential as an excellent red-zone threat
Despite only one year of meaningful production at Miami, Arroyo has cemented his status as a top-50 player

Dylan Sampson (RB)
Dynasty Rookie Draft Projection:
Late 2nd - Early 3rd
Strengths:
Elite Speed and Explosiveness: Sampson is one of the fastest players in the 2025 draft class, with a projected 40-yard dash time of 4.35 seconds and in-game speeds clocked at 22-23 mph. His ability to accelerate and hit top speed quickly makes him a home-run threat every time he touches the ball.
Agility and Elusiveness: Sampson’s lateral quickness and ability to change direction are elite. He consistently makes defenders miss in the open field with sharp cuts and jukes, showcasing excellent body control.
Vision and Patience: Sampson demonstrates advanced field vision for a young running back. He has the patience to wait for blocks to develop and the ability to identify running lanes quickly. His vision is particularly effective in zone-blocking schemes, where he can read the flow of the defense and make decisive cuts.
Weaknesses:
Size and Durability Concerns: At 5’11” and 201 pounds, Sampson is slightly undersized for a traditional workhorse running back role in the NFL. While he has shown durability in college, his frame raises concerns about his ability to handle a full workload at the professional level. NFL defenders are bigger, faster, and stronger, which could lead to durability issues over time if he’s asked to take on too many touches.
Pass Protection: Sampson’s pass-blocking ability is a notable weakness. He struggles to consistently pick up blitzes and lacks the strength to hold off larger defenders. This could limit his usage on third downs early in his career, as NFL coaches often prioritize running backs who can protect the quarterback in passing situations.
Receiving Consistency: While Sampson has flashed potential as a pass-catcher, his production in this area has been inconsistent. In 2024, he recorded only 20 receptions for 143 yards, which is underwhelming for a back with his skill set. He’ll need to refine his route running and improve his hands to become a reliable weapon in the passing game at the next level.
NFL Potential:
Dylan Sampson is a high-upside dynasty prospect with the potential to become a fantasy RB2 or better if he lands in the right situation and develops as a pass-catcher.
While his size and pass protection concerns may limit his early usage, his elite speed and explosiveness make him a player worth targeting in the mid-to-late rounds of rookie drafts.
Dynasty managers should view him as a long-term investment with the potential to deliver significant returns in the right system.
