Yooo!
I’m gonna be honest with you…
Every time I sit down to write this newsletter, the hardest part (without fail) is coming up with a good intro. I usually like to include a quick joke, a gif, etc. but tonight I got nothing. Total brain fart.
So from now on, when that happens, I’m just going to drop in a random picture of an NFL player from back in the day that hopefully gets the juices going for the rest of the newsletter. Cool? Great. Glad you’re on board.
Take it away BenJarvus Green-Ellis:

Here’s what I got for you today:

QB - Cam Ward
Cam Ward, selected first overall by the Tennessee Titans, shows concerning performance issues when under pressure, finishing 59th in PFF's passing grade in this metric
Ward had a higher turnover-worthy throw rate under pressure compared to other quarterbacks like Jalen Milroe, Tyler Shough, and Shedeur Sanders
Ward offers limited upside as a rusher, never running for more than 250 yards in any collegiate season
Ward's success will heavily depend on his ability to develop into a Joe Burrow-type player under head coach Brian Callahan, though there are questions about Callahan's offensive approach
RB - Breece Hall
Mentioned in: Fantasy Football Touchdown Risers: 5 Running Back Positive Regression Candidates to Draft (2025)
Breece Hall's numbers dipped slightly in 2024, scoring one fewer touchdown while missing one game
Hall enters 2025 needing a strong double-digit TD season to earn a contract extension with the Jets
Expected to benefit from Justin Fields' high checkdown rate (15.5%, highest in league) as one of the best receiving backs
Jets have retooled their offensive line for 2025, which should help Hall's performance
WR - Xavier Worthy
Mentioned in: 20 Players Experts Love to Draft (2025 Fantasy Football)
Posted impressive late-season performance in 2024 with at least 4 catches and 40+ yards in 10 consecutive games
Scored 12 total touchdowns in 2024 (9 receiving, 3 rushing)
Averaged over 2.0 yards per route run and 14.6 fantasy points per game from Week 11 onward - equivalent to WR8 production
Ranked 10th in red-zone targets and finished as WR21 from Weeks 11-17
Projected as WR17 for 2025 with increased opportunity due to Rashee Rice's injury recovery and potential suspension
WR - Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant, selected in the third round by the Denver Broncos, is viewed more as a role player than a starting wide receiver despite his 6'2", 201 lb frame
Despite receiving Day 2 draft capital and being compared to Michael Thomas by Sean Payton, Bryant's college production and separation ability suggest limited upside
Bryant's selection in the third round has generated sleeper buzz, but his profile doesn't suggest he'll emerge as a fantasy difference-maker
TE - Jonnu Smith
Smith had a career year with the Dolphins in his age-29 season, finishing as TE2 in PPR points per game from Week 10 onward (17.2)
Posted impressive efficiency metrics with 27% TPRR and 2.14 YPRR, nearly identical to rookie Brock Bowers
Smith's breakout coincided with injuries to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, raising questions about sustainability
Currently being drafted as TE6, Smith's role in Mike McDaniel's offense could continue to optimize his YAC ability
