Yooo!
Hope everyone enjoyed a nice 4th of July weekend. In case you missed it, Joey Chestnut reclaimed his throne, devouring 70.5 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes, about six short of his record of 76 set in 2021. The second-place finisher trailed by nearly 20 hot dogs.
Here’s a highlight reel of Chestnut from the event:

QB - Dylan Gabriel
Mentioned in: 📺️ YouTube: 3 Training Camp Battles That Will IMPACT Your Dynasty League | Does Shedeur Sanders Start?
Dylan Gabriel, a third-round pick by the Browns, is reportedly getting first-team reps in minicamp and is viewed by the team as a potential long-term starter.
Gabriel's college rushing production (over 1,200 career rushing yards, even after accounting for sacks) gives him a mobility edge over Shedeur Sanders, which could translate to more fantasy points.
The hosts believe dynasty managers should be rooting for Gabriel to win the job, as his dual-threat ability offers more upside than Sanders' pocket-passing style.
Despite being a third-round pick, the hosts caution that it's rare for quarterbacks drafted outside the first two rounds to start immediately, and Gabriel may spend his rookie year as a backup.
RB - Jonathan Taylor
Mentioned in: 3 Fantasy Football Draft Picks to Avoid (2025)
Taylor ranks 38th among running backs with only 31 targets and an 8% target share, raising concerns about his PPR value
Despite limited passing game involvement, Taylor ranked 5th in carries, 6th in red zone touches, and 4th in overall rushing yards
Experts suggest Taylor's value should be significantly higher in standard and half-PPR formats compared to full PPR
Currently has a Fantrax ADP of 20.2 but an ECR of 33, indicating potential overvaluation in PPR formats
WR - Cooper Kupp
Kupp tied a career-low with just 10.6 yards per reception in 2024
Posted his lowest receiving yards per game since his 2017 rookie season
Moving to Seattle raises scheme fit concerns, particularly playing alongside similar player Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Declining performance and injury concerns make Kupp a player to avoid in 2025 drafts
WR - Courtland Sutton
Mentioned in: Perfect Fantasy Football Draft: Round-by-Round Targets
Finished as WR24 in fantasy points per game last season as Bo Nix's primary target, commanding a 23.3% target share and 44.9% air yard share
Ranked 26th in receiving yards per game (63.6), 28th in yards per route run (2.13), and 15th in first downs per route run
Expected to maintain his role as Nix's security blanket, competing primarily with Evan Engram for targets
Projected as a strong WR2/WR3 option for 2025
TE - Darren Waller
Mentioned in: 📺️ YouTube: Dynasty Trade Advice | Players to Buy & Sell, Fantasy Football Sleepers, Veteran Risers & Fallers
Darren Waller's trade to Miami has sparked debate, but the consensus is that expectations should be very low—he hasn't had a productive season since 2020 and turns 33 at the start of the 2025 NFL season.
Analysts compared Waller's situation to the late-career Josh Gordon chase, warning that once a player is past their prime, it's rare for them to bounce back; Waller was ranked as TE68 in dynasty (outside the top 46 on the trade chart) and TE40 in redraft.
In tight end premium formats, Waller is considered a deep lottery ticket worth a minimal FAAB bid only if you're desperate at the position, but even then, his ceiling is likely as a short-term stopgap with no value beyond 2025.
