The results from last newsletter’s trade poll are in. I asked what you thought of this trade submitted by Trent:
Team A receives:
Brock Bowers
2027 2nd
Team B receives:
Kyler Murray
Jordan Addison

Survey says… Team A in a landslide win.
Here are some additional comments left by the voters from each side:
Team A voters (Bowers, 27 2nd):
“It's possible that the 22 year old Bowers is a top 3 TE for another 12 years. While it's usually a onesy position that might only offer a 2 or 3 ppg advantage, it's something you do not have to think about for over a decade. Set it and forget it...and if this happens to be a TE premium league? Sheesh!!!! But I doubt it...there'd have been a car title involved.”
“Anytime you get arguably the best player at a position and don’t give up a guy at least top 5 at their position you’re getting the better end”
Team B voters (Kyler, Addison):
Fair for both sides voters:
“If it’s TE premium, I’d want the Bowers side. If it’s not, I think it’s pretty close value-wise in SF.”
Our take:
KTC is not a perfect trade calc, but it’s generally pretty good for understanding what’s in the ballpark of fair. According to their trade calc, they suggest adding one of the players below to the Team B side to even out the trade (see screenshot). That feels about right here, and I’d argue that Team B probably needs even more than that. If you’re trading away Bowers, you shouldn’t be getting market value; you should be getting an overpay.

Today’s contestant…
This trade comes in from your fellow sub, David. Everyone say, “HI DAVID.”
Very important context: This is a 16-team 1-QB dynasty league, and Team A already had Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels.
Team A receives:
Joe Flacco
2026 1st round pick
2026 3rd round pick
Team B receives:
Joe Burrow

QB - Shedeur Sanders
Mentioned in: NFL Rookie Updates for 2025 Fantasy Football Drafts
Sanders is predicted to be the Browns' starting quarterback for Week 1
He's showing more talent and upside than veterans like Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, or Dillon Gabriel
Could be a nice bargain as a third QB in superflex formats if he continues to shine in practices and preseason games
RB - Chase Brown
Mentioned in: 📺️ YouTube: 7 Players I'd Bet My House On This Fantasy Season
From Weeks 9–17 last year, Chase Brown was the RB3 in fantasy points per game: 20+ PPG, 116 total yards per game, 24 touches per game, five catches per game, and a massive 85% snap share.
Owned the backfield (83% rush attempt share) and ran routes on 62% of dropbacks with a top-5 target share among RBs; topped 90 total yards in every game of that eight-game heater.
Competition is light (veteran Samaje Perine and late-round rookie Tahj Brooks), while the team released Zack Moss; OC Dan Pitcher called Brown a focal point and a future household name—“everything Austin Ekeler was.”
Positive TD regression is expected (usage suggested more scores than he got); ADP around 24th overall makes him a slam at the 2/3 turn to lock in a workhorse.
Bold take: Brown is set up as a true three-down centerpiece again—with better TD luck, he could outperform his already aggressive ADP.
WR - Jalen McMillan
McMillan caught 37 passes for 461 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games, finishing as WR46 in per-game PPR scoring
McMillan's efficiency metrics were concerning, with just 1.28 yards per route run and a 63.8% catch rate
His 22% touchdown rate from 2024 is likely unsustainable, especially as he projects to be Tampa Bay's WR4 behind Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and rookie Emeka Egbuka
WR - Adonai Mitchell
Mentioned in: 📺️ YouTube: Top 5 Year 2 Breakouts You’re NOT Hearing Enough About
Adonai Mitchell is called the biggest potential breakout of 2024 for the Indianapolis Colts, praised for his elite athleticism and route running (95th percentile+ on player profiler metrics).
Despite a disappointing rookie stat line (55 targets, less than half caught, 312 yards, 0 touchdowns), the host blames poor target accuracy from Anthony Richardson, who has reportedly worked on his accuracy this offseason.
Mitchell is expected to see a significant increase in targets, with the team invested as a second-round pick and his ability to play both outside and in the slot.
The host acknowledges a crowded receiver room but asserts Mitchell is the best athlete among them and could see a major value spike if he improves his contested catch ability and capitalizes on more accurate quarterback play.
TE - Tyler Warren
Warren demonstrated a 100% snap share with the Colts' first unit in their preseason opener, indicating he will be an every-down player
Warren's high route participation rate is particularly notable, as only two tight ends had a route participation rate of 80% or higher last year
Despite a questionable quarterback situation, Warren's elite prospect status and high route volume suggest he could be a top-12 tight end
