Our take:

• Finally, a pretty close deal to analyze lol

• The 3rd, 5th and 6th round picks in this deal are pretty irrelevant to me in this deal with the other big names in play.

• Hampton and Egbuka have done nothing but raise their stock since draft day. I like AJB and Pollard for this year, but give me the young guns. They’ll be there in the long-term AND have a legitimate shot to outscore AJB and Pollard this year.

• The 2026 1st loses some appeal because of how weak the class could be.

As we wrap up the offseason, I thought it’d be interesting to look at who the biggest risers and fallers were from Draft Day to September.

The results were interesting, so I posted them on Reddit and it got some pretty good discussion going.

We’re skipping the player insights for today and sharing our plans for the newsletter for the 2025 season

First off, I asked if you all wanted more newsletters, and the results were unanimous, with 78% of you voting for more newsletters per week.

The highest % of voters wanted 7 newsletters per week but I don’t think I can keep up with that workload while still working a full-time job 😅 

So here’s the plan…

Newsletter cadence:

We’ll be skipping this Sunday’s newsletter, and starting on Monday, we will move to the following schedule:

• Monday — 5 insights

• Tuesday — Risers and fallers

• Wednesday — 5 insights

• Thursday — 5 insights

• Friday — 5 insights

For the “5 insights” emails, this is more of a rough template for now. I’m going to play around with different themes that I’ll rotate through like this:

• 5 veteran buys

• 5 rookie-focused insights

• 5 waiver wire pickups

• 5 best matchups this week

• Etc

Newsletter send time:

I’ll do my best to get these out by 8pm every night. But that might not always be possible with my commute and less time to work on each newsletter. If it becomes an issue, I might need to scale the # of emails per week back.

Rankings:

We’re working on adding consensus weekly rankings to help you make better start/sit decisions. This won’t be ready for week 1, but we’re trying to get this together asap for you.

• Trade Calculator: Premium members will be a massive part in helping us build out our 1st trade calculator. We’ve seen the trade calcs out on the market and we’re still left wanting something better. Our trade calc will be built off our consensus rankings, offer customizable settings, and eventually integrate with your leagues.

• Trend and Sentiment Analysis: We’re going to add a 30-day snapshot to every player profile that quickly shows you what people are saying about that player and whether the overall sentiment trend is positive, negative, or neutral. We’ll show you whether they’re being frequently mentioned as “buys,” “a player to avoid,” etc. and what their red flags or upside is suggesting. It’ll be the fastest way to get up to speed on a player in the industry.

• Buy, Hold, Sell Recommendations: We’re going to pair that 30-day snapshot with buy/hold/sell recommendations for every player for both dynasty and redraft leagues. This recommendation will be updated as the industry adapts its approach to a player, ensuring you always know the optimal times to buy and sell before your league mates do.

• More Customized Feeds: We’ll be making our feeds more customizable so you can search for RB insights only, players tagged as Dynasty Buys, or RBs tagged as Dynasty Buys, etc. This will help you when you’re looking for new waiver pickups or ideal trade candidates.

These new features won’t happen all at once, but they’re in the works. This is just NFL Season #1 for us. I can’t wait to see where we’re at in Season #2, #5, #10, and beyond.
