Yooo!
Here are the last two NFL tie games:
12/4/2022: NYG vs. WAS, 20-20
9/28/2025: GB vs. DAL, 40-40
I can’t wait for the 60-60 tie we’re going to see in 2028.
Or maybe it doubles every time and we’ll see an 80-80 tie???

Enough small talk. Let’s get into some week 4 takeaways.
Giddy up.

QB - Patrick Mahomes (KC)
Mentioned in : Monday NFL Roundup: Week 5
Patrick Mahomes achieved a significant career milestone by becoming the fastest quarterback to reach 250 career touchdown passes, accomplishing this feat in 116 games and surpassing Aaron Rodgers' previous record of 121 games.
Mahomes delivered his best performance of the season with a four-touchdown game, showing notably improved chemistry with the return of Xavier Worthy to the lineup.
The Chiefs quarterback has shown remarkable efficiency this season with a 7-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio, marking a significant improvement over his previous four seasons where he had recorded double-digit interceptions.
Our take: The vibe around Mahomes’ fantasy value has been really weird for almost 2 years now. He was the QB1 in 2022, QB8 in 2023, and then QB11 in 2024. It seemed like he had been slowing down, but yesterday felt like the first vintage Mahomes performance I can remember in a long time. Plus, he gets Rashee back later in the year. Let’s see if he can get back to consistent top-5 QB fantasy production.
QB - Jaxson Dart (NYG)
Jaxson Dart led the Giants to a huge win over Indianapolis, showing off more with his legs than his arm.
Despite only 111 passing yards, Dart rushed 10 times for 54 yards and a touchdown, giving fantasy managers a glimpse of his dual-threat upside.
The coaching staff is expected to design more run plays for Dart, highlighting his strong leadership and ‘it factor’ presence in the locker room.
Our take: In one of the more surprising wins of the season, Dart looked pretty solid for his 1st NFL start. The rushing upside was on full display, and I expect that to continue moving forward (especially with Nabers out). There will undoubtedly be some bumps along the way with a tough schedule and limited WR options, but the rushing ability gives him a decent floor week-to-week.
WR - Calvin Ridley (TEN)
Mentioned in: Ten Things We Learned in Week 4 (Fantasy Football)
Ridley's performance in the Titans offense has been described as 'horrendous' for fantasy purposes, with his highest finish through four weeks being just WR57 in Week 2, where he managed only three catches for 57 yards.
More alarmingly, Ridley's snap count has drastically decreased, as he played just 27 snaps on Sunday, ranking third among team receivers behind both Elic Ayomanor and Tyler Lockett. This reduction in playing time suggests a concerning trend in his role within the offense.
The article strongly advises that Ridley must remain on fantasy benches until there's a significant change in his usage or production. However, there's pessimism about whether such improvement will ever come, suggesting this could be more than just a temporary slump.
Our take: I don’t know what’s going on with Ridley in TEN, but I was dead wrong about what I had hoped for him in 2025. He seemed like a lock for top-24 WR production with an improved QB and little competition entering the year. But right now, he’s one of the biggest busts. We mentioned him in our “5 players trending down” newsletter 2 weeks ago, and that trend has only gotten worse since then.
WR - Romeo Doubs (GB)
Romeo Doubs delivered a breakout performance in Week 4's high-scoring tie with the Cowboys, securing six catches and three touchdowns. While his 58 receiving yards weren't overwhelming, his red zone usage proved extremely valuable for fantasy purposes.
Doubs continues to lead Green Bay's wide receiver corps in snaps and has established himself as Jordan Love's preferred red zone target. He is the only Packers wide receiver to record a target inside the opponent's 15-yard line, and the only one to command more than one target inside the 20-yard line (three).
Despite Love falling outside the top 10 in red zone pass attempts, he's tied for second in touchdowns (five), with Doubs being his primary beneficiary. The article suggests this red zone connection makes Doubs a solid fantasy play even when overall volume may be limited in the Packers' offense.
Our take: I hated the thought of trying to predict Green Bay’s WR usage week-to-week, so I’ve exclusively ignored all those WRs on my teams. While you could do worse than Doubs in your FLEX, he feels more like an obvious sell than a hold. These are some real trades happening on FantasyCalc right now:
Doubs for AJ Brown
Doubs for Ja’Marr Chase
Doubs for Jordan Addison
Doubs for Brian Thomas Jr.
In case the takeaway is not explicitly clear… I’d kick the tires and try to trade him.
RB - Woody Marks (HOU)
Woody Marks has shown steady progression in his involvement with the Texans' offense, with his snap shares increasing consistently from Weeks 1-3 (11.1%/26.5%/47.6%). The team has evolved from using four backs in Week 1 to primarily featuring Marks in a two-man rotation, demonstrating growing trust in his abilities.
In Week 4, Marks had a breakout performance against Tennessee, achieving season highs across multiple categories including snap share (59%), carries (17), rushing yards (69), targets (five), and receiving yards (50). He also scored his first touchdown as a pass-catcher, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities.
Marks has established himself as a reliable offensive weapon, having carried 12 times for 44 rushing yards (14.7 per game) in his first three weeks, with 52.3% of his yards coming after contact. His role in the passing game has also been significant, running 28 routes and securing two of three targets for 46 yards prior to his Week 4 explosion.
Our take: Woody was mentioned in last week’s “5 players trending up” newsletter, and things escalated quickly this week.
It’s a LONG season, and this is just ONE good game against a struggling Titans team, but this is what the start of a breakout looks like.
In fact, a lot of analysts had been suggesting a potential breakout earlier this offseason.

Our take: I won’t go as far as the subscriber comment suggested, but I did watch as much as I could over the weekend while traveling. Kind of thankful I missed a good portion of it, though, because much of it was rough to watch, rooting for the US.
