Yooo!

I’m getting married this Friday, which naturally has me thinking about deep questions like: ā€œIf you could have one player from your dynasty team as your best man, who would it be?ā€

Easy choice for my roster. I drafted this guy in a 2021 startup for $2. Has been on my roster for 3 championships. One of the most entertaining players in the sport. The honor goes to…

Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston

Literally only keep him on the roster because he’s a clubhouse guy lol.

If you have a great answer to this question, hit reply on this email and let me know! I’ll share the best answer in next week’s email.

Last week, I asked you all: ā€œWhere do you rank Rashee Rice following the recent news?ā€

47.8% of you said ā€œWR 13-24ā€

Best subscriber comments:

  • WR13-24: ā€œHe'll take a couple of games to back into the rhythm of the sport due to missed practice but he'll get there. As far as his perception on the team regarding his prison sentence - It's the NFL, owners and coaches won't give a hoot as long as he's got the potential to produce.ā€

  • WR13-24: ā€œUnstable and a headache, but still a boom if he recovers from his messy life. Trajectory is down with potential of good years later, albeit likely on another team.ā€

  • WR25-36: ā€œCan't count on that dude even being on the field half the time!ā€

Our take: I voted for WR25-36 because I don’t want the headache, but I totally understand why WR13-24 is the most popular answer. This should tell you two things:

  1. If you have Rashee and don’t want him, you can probably get WR2 prices.

  2. If you don’t have Rashee and want to buy, you might be able to push his price down to WR3 territory.

Alright, now let’s get to some news you might’ve missed this week.

Giddy up.

Investors see ANOTHER return from Masterworks (!!!!)

That’s 6 sales in 7 months. 29 all time. And the performance?

16.5%, 17.6%, and 17.8%, net annualized returns on sold works held longer than one year (See all 29 at Masterworks.com)

It’s not from stocks, private equity, or real estate… it’s from contemporary and post war art. Crazy, right?

With Masterworks, you don’t need to be a BILLIONAIRE to invest in multi-million dollar art anymore.

Historically, the segment overall has had attractive appreciation and low correlation to stocks.*

Masterworks targets works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, identifying what they believe to have significant long-term appreciation potential, not just at the artist level but at the level of individual artworks.

As one of the largest players in the art market, with $1.3 billion invested over 500 artworks, they pass critical advantages through to their 70,000+ members to add art to their portfolios strategically.

So come by, say hello, and bring your best takes with you.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs has been arrested on five charges, including felony strangulation and suffocation. His legal team denies the allegations, but he faces extreme uncertainty regarding his 2026 availability and potential league discipline.

  • Jacobs was arrested and booked into Brown County Jail on May 26, 2026, facing five charges including felony strangulation and suffocation, battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, and intimidation of a victim. His legal team has vehemently denied the allegations, stating that important evidence has yet to be made public (11 sources).

  • The NFL is actively monitoring the situation, and there is significant concern that Jacobs could be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List or face a multi-game suspension under the league's personal conduct policy. This legal volatility has caused his dynasty value to plummet (6 sources).

  • Prior to his arrest, Jacobs was widely viewed as a high-volume workhorse and a reliable RB1/2 candidate, having finished as a top-10 fantasy producer in previous seasons. He remains the focal point of the Packers' run-first offensive scheme, though his efficiency metrics showed signs of decline in 2025 while playing through injuries (8 sources).

  • Our take: Obviously crazy news if true. Not good. Need to wait for more news to see how it all plays out. MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks are probably next in line. Woudln’t rule out a trade or FA signing for more RB help as well (Najee, James Conner, Benson??).

Jonathon Brooks is cleared for offseason work. With no backfield additions in the 2026 draft, the Panthers are signaling a primary role for him. He is a high-upside target for dynasty managers.

  • Brooks has been medically cleared for the team's offseason program and is reportedly near 100% health, marking a significant milestone in his recovery from consecutive ACL tears (5 sources).

  • The team's decision to bypass the running back position in the 2026 NFL Draft signals organizational confidence in his potential to serve as a key contributor alongside Chuba Hubbard and Trevor Etienne (5 sources).

  • Despite his high prospect pedigree and three-down skill set, his dynasty value remains volatile due to an extensive injury history that has limited him to just 23 professional snaps (5 sources).

  • Our take: Sentiment on Brooks has been largely positive the past 30 days. He’s a perfect blend of low cost and high upside.

Ashton Jeanty is a primary BUY in 2026 drafts. With Klint Kubiak installing a run-first scheme and a reinforced offensive line, Jeanty is set for a massive workload increase. He remains a top-tier dynasty asset with top-5 overall upside.

  • Jeanty is expected to serve as a high-volume, three-down bell-cow back, with head coach Klint Kubiak explicitly challenging him to maintain a high snap percentage and maximize his production (9 sources).

  • His 2025 rookie efficiency was severely hampered by poor offensive line play, ranking near the bottom of the league in yards before contact, but significant offseason upgrades (including the addition of center Tyler Linderbaum) are expected to stabilize the rushing environment (9 sources).

  • Fantasy analysts view Jeanty as a top-tier dynasty asset with top-five overall upside, citing his dual-threat ability, age, and the transition to a more aggressive, run-first offensive scheme as key drivers for long-term growth (10 sources)

  • Our take: Jeanty seems primed to take another step in year 2. Any concerns around a committee with Mike Washington Jr. feels like a buying opportunity.

Nico Collins secured a $17 million raise, bringing his annual salary to $29 million for the current season and $29.2 million for 2027, which ranks him as the 11th-highest paid wide receiver in the league.

  • The contract adjustment guarantees his salary for the next two seasons, effectively ending trade rumors and cementing his role as a primary target in the Texans' offense (1 source).

  • He is coming off his third consecutive 1,000-yard season, having recorded 1,117 yards and six touchdowns last year, confirming his status as a consistent high-volume producer (1 source).

  • Durability remains the primary risk to his fantasy ceiling, as he has yet to play a full 17-game season in his career and dealt with multiple concussions last year (1 source).

  • Our take: Nico falls in that WR12 limbo range. He’s not quite in the elite group, but we expect him to perform like a solid WR1 most weeks, which can’t always be said for the tier of WR below him. Because he falls in this limbo range, it often feels like he’s undervalued. Just stay healthy, man!

Trevor Lawrence enters 2026 as a solidified QB1 following a 2025 breakout. Despite concerns regarding his deep-ball consistency, his rushing floor and late-season efficiency make him a high-priority target in all formats.

  • Lawrence experienced a significant second-half surge in 2025, ranking as a top-tier fantasy producer from Week 10 onward by leveraging his dual-threat ability, including 360 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns on the season (7 sources).

  • Despite his breakout, Lawrence faces skepticism regarding his week-to-week consistency and ability to maintain high-level production against a challenging 2026 schedule, with some analysts citing past struggles with pressure and decision-making (7 sources).

  • The coaching staff is actively working to increase his depth of target by encouraging more 15-to-30-yard passing attempts, building on a trend observed late in the previous season (1 source).

  • Our take: Lawrence ended last year on an impressive run. Starting in Week 11, he went QB11, 7, 5, 13, 1, 2, 5, 3. That run helped him finish as QB4 overall on the year. I’ll share more thoughts in next week’s newsletter when I break down the poll results (vote below).
