Quarterbacks:

  • Hurts played conservatively in his first game back from concussion against Green Bay

  • The Eagles relied more on their ground game than Hurts' arm in their Wild Card win

  • Questions remain about whether Hurts' arm can keep pace with Detroit's offense in a potential Championship Round matchup

  • Stroud failed to live up to his lofty QB5/6 draft position, finishing as just QB19 after 17 healthy games

  • Despite a strong receiving corps including Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell, and Nico Collins, Stroud managed only two top-12 quarterback finishes in 2024

  • Through two years, Stroud has struggled to be a reliable fantasy asset, with injuries to Collins and Diggs and poor offensive line play contributing to his disappointing season

Cam Ward 👶

  • Cam Ward is projected as the potential #1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, with a slight edge over Shedeur Sanders

  • Ward is predicted to be the best quarterback Tennessee has had since Steve McNair

  • His work ethic and winning personality are expected to endear him to Titans fans

Running Backs:

  • Isiah Pacheco (rib) participated fully in Tuesday's practice for the Chiefs

  • Head coach Andy Reid hinted Pacheco could return to his normal workload in the playoffs

  • Pacheco has been disappointing since returning from his previous fibula injury, making him a speculative fantasy start

  • David Montgomery (knee) was a full participant in practice on Tuesday for the Lions

  • Montgomery is expected to play in the Divisional Round against the Commanders barring any setbacks

  • He will likely resume his tandem role with Jahmyr Gibbs in the Lions' backfield

  • Achane lived up to his RB7 ranking, finishing as RB6 in half-PPR points per game

  • Led all running backs with 78 receptions, averaging 4.9 catches per game

  • Scored 11 touchdowns despite efficiency declining and only one 100+ yard rushing game through the first 17 weeks

Wide Receivers:

  • Finished as WR53 with 37 catches for 461 yards and 8 touchdowns for the Buccaneers

  • Made a dramatic improvement after Week 13, jumping from 3.7 FPPG to 17.4 FPPG in final five games

  • Scored 7 touchdowns in his final 5 games, second-most for a rookie WR in that span behind only Randy Moss

  • Brown returned from injury late in the season and immediately became a go-to target for Patrick Mahomes

  • Expected to be a key focal point in the Chiefs' gameplan against the Texans' 27th-ranked defense vs WRs

  • Predicted to potentially break free for a long touchdown with attention likely focused on rookie Xavier Worthy

  • Pearsall finished strong in 2024, ranking as WR7 and WR14 in the final two weeks with a 21.7% target share

  • In late season performance, Pearsall posted impressive metrics including a 30.4% first-read share and 2.84 yards per route run

  • With Brandon Aiyuk recovering from ACL injury and uncertainty around Deebo Samuel's roster status, Pearsall is positioned for a potential breakout in 2025

  • Travis Hunter is considered the best player in the 2025 NFL Draft

  • Projected to go #3 overall to the New York Giants, where he would pair with Malik Nabers on offense

  • Hunter's versatility as both a CB and WR makes him a valuable addition to the Giants' secondary

  • Finished as WR28 with 62 catches for 885 yards and 8 touchdowns for the Cardinals

  • Showed significant inconsistency, averaging 16.9 fantasy points in games with touchdowns versus just 4.7 points in games without

  • Operated with a deep route tree, posting a 14.1 aDOT with 68.5% of targets coming 10+ yards downfield

  • The Missouri star is projected as a top-three pick in dynasty rookie drafts

  • Burden is viewed as more of an offensive weapon than traditional wide receiver

  • Missouri utilized him all over the field, including in the backfield

  • Diggs ranked as WR10 over the first eight weeks, averaging eight targets and 12.3 half-PPR fantasy points per game

  • Season ended prematurely due to a torn ACL in Week 8

  • Landing spot could make him a low-end WR2 or high-end WR4 for 2025, with Week 1 availability being a concern

Tight Ends:

  • Goedert has an excellent matchup against the Rams, who rank 32nd against tight ends

  • Coming off an impressive performance with a highlight-reel touchdown against the Packers

  • Considered one of the best bets to score a touchdown for the Eagles outside of Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts

Tyler Warren 👶

  • Tyler Warren was Penn State's best weapon in the passing game

  • Shows unique versatility with ability to line up at quarterback and in the Wildcat formation

  • Projected to be a first-round pick (#14 to Colts) and could be a difference-maker at tight end

  • Schultz faces a Chiefs defense that allowed 14.9 fantasy points per game to tight ends this season

  • Kansas City has allowed 1,191 receiving yards to tight ends, the most in the NFL this season

  • Despite only producing 10+ fantasy points in two of 17 games this season, Schultz has a favorable matchup against the Chiefs

  • The Bowling Green star set multiple FBS records for tight ends in 2024

  • Set records for tight end receptions (117), receiving yards (1,550), yards after contact (868), and missed tackles forced (32)

  • While not from a Power 5 conference, Fannin is considered a potential first-round pick in a strong tight end class
