Yooo!
There’s no better feeling than having a starting lineup full of guys you have total confidence in. You know, when your lineup is set Tuesday morning and you don’t have to think twice about it the rest of the week.
Tonight’s newsletter is not about those players. Of the players mentioned tonight, you’re probably starting 4 of these 5 guys, no matter what, but they have some question marks and doubts surrounding them.
Giddy up.

In case you missed it, we launched our $25 survivor pool! The contest starts week 5 and is hosted on Splash Sports.

QB - Jordan Love (GB)
Mentioned in: YouTube: Biggest Week 3 Fantasy Football Losers: Chase Brown, Jerry Jeudy, & Others! | 2025 Fantasy Football
Jordan Love scored just 13 fantasy points in Week 3, looking frustrated behind a banged-up Packers offensive line.
With injuries around him and no rushing production, his ceiling looks capped despite optimism entering the year.
Analysts were especially concerned that Love still isn’t using his legs to extend plays or get fantasy-friendly rushing yards.
There’s bounce-back potential against Dallas, but his slow start casts doubt on his fantasy consistency.
Our take: I think this last game was more about the CLE defense being sneaky good and less about Love being bad. My gut says Love and the Packers offense will be fine.
RB - R.J. Harvey (DEN)
Mentioned in: Podcast: How Worried Are We About These Players? Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast - Ep. 707
RJ Harvey is off to a slow start at just 5.3 fantasy points per game and RB48 overall, but analysts remain confident in his long-term upside.
JK Dobbins, signed to a one-year deal, has taken over the starting role, which slowed Harvey’s early-year involvement despite the Broncos’ elite run-blocking line.
Rich called his worry level a 'zero', fully buying into Harvey’s future after Dobbins leaves, and sees him as a budding dynasty star.
Others set worry levels slightly higher (1–2), citing Harvey’s age (25 next year) and light rookie usage, but still view this as a prime dynasty buy window.
Consensus: acquire RJ Harvey now, even if he doesn’t produce much in 2025, because opportunity should open significantly after Dobbins departs.
Our take: All the reasons people loved Harvey coming into the year still hold true in my mind. The biggest difference is that Dobbins has looked better than everyone expected. I agree with leaning on the side of patience here.
RB - Breece Hall (NYJ)
Breece Hall has seen a steady 60%+ snap share, though his carries have declined from 19 in Week 1 to just 9 in Week 3, with much of his fantasy value propped up by receptions.
The podcast floated a bold prediction: Hall could be traded in a culture-shifting move, potentially for DJ Moore, to give New York the true WR2 they desperately need.
If such a move occurred, both Hall and Moore could see their value unlocked in new environments, though D'Andre Swift might be a loser in that scenario.
Our take: I own Breece in one league and Swift in another. All the insights I read about them on our Dynasty Pulse feeds are all over the place. I’m confident in Breece’s talent and hoping his situation improves over time (whether through a trade or more consistent usage with the Jets).
RB - Chuba Hubbard (CAR)
Chuba Hubbard continues to lead the Panthers' backfield, demonstrated by his commanding 19 total touches (including two catches) for 76 yards in Week 3's 30-0 victory over the Falcons. His workload confirms his status as the primary back following his pre-season contract extension.
While Hubbard maintains the lead role, there's growing competition from Rico Dowdle, who has seen his touches increase each week and managed to score a touchdown in Week 3. However, the article suggests Dowdle's increased usage may have been more related to game script in a blowout victory.
Despite the emergence of Dowdle, Hubbard's position as the lead back appears secure for now, though fantasy managers should monitor the goal-line situation as Dowdle's touchdown could signal a potential committee approach in scoring situations.
Our take: It feels like Chuba is perpetually undervalued. Like the article suggests, Dowdle’s usage is worth monitoring, but this still feels like Chuba’s backfield to lose.
WR - Brian Thomas Jr. (JAX)
Mentioned in: YouTube: Browns RB Quinshon Judkins DOMINATES in Second NFL Start | Week 3 WINNERS and LOSERS!
Brian Thomas Jr. has been one of the biggest early disappointments, catching just 7 passes for 115 yards and zero TDs through three games.
His 28% catch rate and negative receiving EPA have tanked his efficiency compared to last season’s 65% catch rate.
Thomas has looked far better with Mac Jones than with Trevor Lawrence, but currently the Jaguars’ passing offense is sputtering across the board.
Analysts recommend holding instead of selling low, as he’s too talented to completely fade, but patience is required with both Lawrence and the overall Jaguars’ offensive woes.
Our take: This summary feels spot on. Just gotta take the lumps right now and hope for a turnaround.
