Week 5 risers & fallers

Featuring Stefon Diggs, Jameson Williams, and more

Yooo!

Fantasy Pros (FP) is still showing some weird movement this week. It’s really difficult to pinpoint what is happening, but these 3 consensus movers below look wrong, and I would expect them to get corrected in the next update to their rankings:

  • Jordan Love (Down -63 on FP → Down -14 on our site)

  • Daniel Jones (Down -120 on FP → Down -26 on our site)

  • Geno Smith (Down -63 on FP → Down -15 on our site)

Outside of these 3 players, everything else seems within a normal range of movement in our consensus rankings.

With that out of the way, let’s highlight some of the ACTUAL risers and fallers this week.

Giddy up.

Week 5 risers & fallers

📈 Risers

+9 📈 Quinshon Judkins (41 OVR, RB10)

  • He’s up to 41 OVR after being 83 OVR on 9/1… he looks like the real deal

+15 📈 Jacory Croskey-Merritt (99 OVR, RB27)

+18 📈 Stefon Diggs (128 OVR, WR51)

  • He’s looked like vintage Diggs the last two weeks. I own him on multiple teams and am hoping there’s more of this to come.

+61 📈 Dillon Gabriel (143 OVR, QB30)

  • Starting QB bump. If you have the depth, he feels like a sell.

+63 📈 Rico Dowdle (160 OVR, RB46)

  • I guess 200+ rushing yards in one game is enough to get people’s attention.

📉 Fallers

-5 📉 Saquon Barkley (28 OVR, RB7)

  • A movement of ±5 spots doesn’t happen often this high in the rankings. The Eagles offense seems off, but maybe a NYG revenge game will get him back on track. I’m still holding.

-7 📉 Jameson Williams (78 OVR, WR30)

  • The boom-bust WR has been mostly bust this year. I expect some better days ahead, but it’s a rollercoaster ride.

-13 📉 Trey Benson (103 OVR, RB28)

  • I still feel like this will be his job when he gets back. I’d be buying the dip if the current owner in your league needs production now.

-22 📉 Juwan Johnson (158 OVR, TE22)

  • He has come back down to earth after a hot start with two duds in back-to-back weeks. I’m sure he’ll provide some serviceable games the rest of the way, but I’d be chasing guys with more upside.

-26 📉 Jalen Milroe (178 OVR, QB34)

  • I assume this is largely due to Darnold playing really well lately. And also some recency bias because Milroe fumbled last week. He’s still a great long-term stash because of how low the cost is compared to his top-12 upside with that potential rushing production.
