RISERS đ
WR - Terry McLaurin (WAS)
+16 spots, 103 OVR, WR33
After missing four weeks, Terry McLaurin returned in Week 8 with a 14.4 fantasy point performance, followed by another absence and a recent comeback in Week 13. In his latest game, McLaurin was instrumental in the Commanders' passing attack, catching half of his 14 targets for a touchdown and 96 receiving yards.
Despite Marcus Mariota's impressive 294 passing yards and 55 rushing yards against a top defense, the article suggests caution with McLaurin this week. The Minnesota Vikings have been exceptionally stingy against wide receivers, allowing a league-low 22.85 fantasy points per game and the fifth-fewest passing yards.
In recent weeks, the Vikings have maintained their defensive prowess, allowing just 35 receptions, 454 receiving yards, and one touchdown over four games. Their recent performance against top receivers, including limiting Jaxon Smith-Njigba to just two receptions for 23 yards, further underscores the challenging matchup for McLaurin.
Our take: If that JSN stat doesnât give you pause about Terry this week, I donât know what will.
WR - Christian Watson (GB)
+25 spots, 118 OVR, WR41
Christian Watson has emerged as a key receiver for the Packers, returning from a torn ACL and establishing himself as a near full-time player over the last four games. His performance has been impressive, with a 73 Utilization Score and 13.8 points per game, showcasing his ability to attack every level of the defense.
Watson has demonstrated elite-level metrics, including a 2.27 yards per route run (YPRR) and a 26% target share, making him Jordan Love's favorite target on critical third- and fourth-down plays. His historical Utilization Score comparisons suggest he has a strong chance of finishing as a top-24 wide receiver.
The article upgrades Watson to high-end WR3 territory with WR2 upside, noting that while the Packers' receiver corps may become more crowded with returning players, Watson offers a unique skillset that sets him apart from other receivers on the team.
Our take: âHigh-end WR3 with WR2 upsideâ feels like the perfect description of Watson.
RB - Blake Corum (LAR)
+16 spots, 166 OVR, RB39
Mentioned in : Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups: RBs Lead The Way
Corum is part of the Los Angeles Rams' running back rotation with Kyren Williams, seeing his red-zone role grow significantly since the team's Week 8 bye, commanding 56% of carries inside the opponent's 5-yard line compared to just 20% before.
In a recent game, Corum led the Rams with 81 rushing yards and scored a 2-yard TD, though he remains a somewhat inconsistent fantasy option with only three double-digit performances this season.
The article positions Corum primarily as a high-end handcuff for Kyren Williams, with the potential to be a difference-maker if Williams suffers a significant injury, making him an intriguing stash for fantasy managers.
Our take: I traded for Kyren AND Corum as a contender 2 weeks ago. I would not have traded for Kyren without the Corum handcuff because of his growing role. When watching the Rams, it appears that each back gets dedicated drives (for the most part), which makes predicting their usage a frustrating endeavor. But Kyrenâs still the guy⌠for now.
FALLERS đ
WR - Rome Odunze (CHI)
-8 spots, 46 OVR, WR16
Mentioned in : Podcast: Playoff Push! Week 14 Start/Sit + The Ballers Fix Football - Fantasy Football Podcast for 12/3
Rome Odunze is portrayed as a deeply frustrating fantasy asset, with the hosts emphasizing that he continues to see solid target volume but is catching fewer than half of his targets, largely because an unusually high percentage of his passes have been uncatchable.
They review a string of recent poor yardage totals for Rome Odunze, mentioning multiple games in the 30 to 40 yard range and one with only eight yards, to illustrate how his box scores have lagged far behind early-season expectations and name value.
In multiple start or sit discussions, Rome Odunze is directly compared to Brian Thomas Jr. and Kyle Monangai, and the hosts often lean away from him unless a manager is a clear underdog chasing explosive upside, which reflects a loss of trust in his weekly floor.
The commentary also notes that the primary issue is not necessarily Rome Odunzeâs talent but the lack of synchronization with his quarterback, suggesting that until the passing game becomes more efficient, fantasy managers should view him as a volatile bet rather than a reliable starter.
Our take: Itâs impossible to trust Odunze anymore this season. But Iâm still in on him long-term.
RB - Saquon Barkley (PHI)
-11 spots, 52 OVR, RB13
Mentioned in : Podcast: BENCHED: Should Fantasy Managers SIT Lamar Jackson and Justin Jefferson | Updated Dynasty Values!
Saquon Barkleyâs 2025 season has been a major disappointment, as he has fallen from an offseason dynasty ranking around RB4 down to roughly RB12 and has produced only mid-range RB2 numbers since Week 9, checking in as the RB24 over that seven-game stretch.
The hosts detail that Saquon Barkley has been held below about 13.2 fantasy points in six of his last seven contests, has three single-digit games, and has failed to capitalize consistently even in softer matchups, which has caused many fantasy managers to question whether he should be benched despite his name value.
From a structural standpoint, the analysts attribute much of Saquon Barkleyâs decline to an offensive coordinator downgrade, a line that no longer opens big lanes, and an offense that does not feed him as many high-value touches in space, a stark contrast to last season when he piled up over a thousand yards before first contact.
In dynasty, the panel is pessimistic about a full Christian McCaffrey-style resurgence for Saquon Barkley because of his age, extensive wear and tear from repeated heavy workloads, and a reduced pass-catching role in the Eagles offense, leading them to prefer trading him away even at a discount rather than doubling down on a long-term rebound.
Our take: Barkley appears in our Fallers portion of the newsletter 2 weeks in a row. This time with an even bigger fall. Never a good sign. Kevin Patullo (the Eagles OC) had his house egged recently, so that tells you what Philly fans think of their own offense right now. And their 8-4 lol. Barkleyâs outlook is ugly, but itâs tough to put much of that on him.
WR - Michael Pittman Jr. (IND)
-10 spots, 86 OVR, WR28
Mentioned in : Podcast: Trade Away These Players Before Their Value PLUMMET in 2026! Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast EP. 756
Michael Pittman Jr. is discussed as a 2026 graveyard type wide receiver whose value could fall sharply, as he has rebounded into fringe WR1 production this season but is already slipping toward the WR13 range and has delivered several very weak games recently.
The hosts point out that the Indianapolis offense is built around Jonathan Taylor, and they foresee a scenario similar to Saquon Barkley in 2024 where heavy usage leads to a less efficient year for the running game, reducing scoring chances and overall offensive efficiency, which would indirectly hurt Michael Pittman Jr.
They highlight that other pass catching options, including Tyler Warren, Josh Downs, and potentially Alec Pierce if he is re signed, could increasingly siphon targets from Michael Pittman Jr., while his contested catch, low separation profile makes him sensitive to quarterback play and game script.
Because dynasty managers have historically been reluctant to pay full freight for Michael Pittman Jr., the hosts recommend using his current perceived status as a borderline WR1 to pivot into a first round pick while that return is attainable, anticipating that by 2026 he will more likely be valued as a volatile WR3 than as a core lineup anchor.
Our take: I completely agree with this take and would be looking to sell if I had him.
Thatâs all for tonight!
See ya pizza,
Joe
