Is Jeremiyah Love the consensus 1.01?

Let's see what the experts are saying

Yooo!

Last night, I asked you all: “This time next year, will Lamar Jackson be a top-10 dynasty suprerflex asset?”

67.9% of you said YES.

Best subscriber comments:

  • Yes: “No chance he falls lower than where he finished this year. I’ll gladly draft him w a slight discount next year”

  • Yes: “He has oscillated before between disappointment and MVP”

  • Yes: “Run threat and size are just too much to ignore.”

Our take: I’m going to side with the majority on this one. We mentioned just last night that Lamar or the coaches would be gone, and today we got our answer as the Ravens fired Harbaugh. Something felt off all year with this team. But I’d rather bet on Lamar than against him moving forward.

Alright, now let’s check on the potential 1.01 of all our rookie drafts this offseason, Jeremiyah Love.

Giddy up.

RB - Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame)

Here are some of the most recent insights pulled from our Dynasty Pulse Premium feed. Rookie content should start to pick up more and more as the college and NFL season winds down.

January 6, 2026
  • Jeremiyah Love is considered the top pick in non-superflex dynasty rookie drafts, highlighting his exceptional potential as a running back prospect from Notre Dame. At just 20 years old, he won the 2025 Doak Walker Award as the top RB in college football, demonstrating his elite status in college football.

  • Over the past two seasons, Love has compiled an impressive 3,014 yards and 40 touchdowns from scrimmage in just 28 games, showcasing his remarkable productivity and consistent performance. His three-down skill set and workhorse frame (6-0, 214 lbs.) suggest he could become one of the NFL's top running backs as a rookie.

  • The article emphasizes that Love's fantasy football value could be significant, particularly if he lands in a functional offensive system. Unlike some recent rookie running backs, Love has the potential to draw Round 1 investment in fantasy drafts for season-long, best ball, and Guillotine Leagues™, making him a highly intriguing prospect for fantasy managers.

January 5, 2026
  • Jeremiyah Love is the reigning Doak Walker Award winner from Notre Dame, making history as the first player from the school to win this prestigious award. In his junior season, Love achieved remarkable milestones, including career highs of 1,372 rushing yards, 280 receiving yards, and 21 total touchdowns, surpassing Jerome Bettis's school record.

  • As a former high school state champion track star, Love brings elite long speed and explosiveness to the field, with 4.4 speed that makes him a home-run threat on every play. His running style is characterized by exceptional elusiveness, ability to make defenders miss through jukes and hurdles, and remarkable contact balance that allows him to turn short runs into big gains.

  • Love is projected as the top running back in the 2026 draft class and the consensus 1.01 in rookie drafts, receiving a 91.75 grade that places him in the elite fantasy producers category. Potential dream landing spots include Kansas City and Minnesota, with the profile highlighting his ideal fit in Kevin O'Connell's offense as a dynamic, game-changing weapon comparable to LeSean McCoy in playing style.

January 5, 2026
  • Love is considered the most explosive offensive player in the 2026 class, separating himself from other running backs and making the 1.01 draft pick feel almost ceremonial. He has demonstrated remarkable consistency, being the only player in the country to rush for 1,000 yards while averaging at least 6.5 yards per carry, scoring double-digit touchdowns, and forcing over 50 missed tackles in back-to-back seasons.

  • He is praised for being scheme-agnostic, effectively navigating both zone and gap concepts while consistently making himself a viable option in the passing game. Love combines decisiveness and physicality with game speed that translates effectively when wearing pads.

  • His versatility and consistent high-level performance make him a standout prospect, with the article suggesting he is so clearly the top prospect that there is virtually no debate about his draft position.

January 2, 2026
  • Jeremiyah Love is projected to be the consensus 1.01 pick in dynasty rookie drafts, comparable to last year's top prospect Ashton Jeanty, but potentially even more valuable due to being 18 months younger.

  • Love has been a dominant offensive force for Notre Dame, accumulating over 3,000 scrimmage yards and 40 touchdowns since 2024, showcasing exceptional size, athleticism, and receiving abilities that make him a potential fantasy football breakout star.

  • The article highlights Love's well-rounded skill set, noting that he possesses short-area quickness, long speed, and a complete profile without any significant red flags that might hinder his potential as a top-tier running back prospect.

Our take:

It’s obviously very very early in the rookie draft research process, but it’s hard to read these insights and not fall in love with Love at the 1.01. Landing spot will obviously be a huge factor on his immediate impact, but he seems like a player who should produce solid results no matter what situation he lands in.
