Yooo!

Hope you enjoyed the Super Bowl as much as you could. It never really felt like the Pats had a chance. The Seahawks were arguably the best team all year, and they showed it.

I’m happy for Sam Darnold. I’m not worried about Drake Maye. And I hope MVP Kenny 3 Sticks secures a bag this offseason.

In case you missed it, we dropped the newsletter cadence down to 1x per week for the early part of the offseason.

We’re working on some big updates to the website and can’t wait to share them with you as we make progress!

In the meantime, you can expect our newsletters to land in your inbox every Wed at 9pm EST up until the NFL draft (late April). We’ll increase the newsletter cadence again after that.

Last week, I asked you all: ā€œWhere will Jeanty finish in PPR scoring next year?ā€

48.8% of you said RB 7-9.

Best subscriber comments:

  • RB 4-6: ā€œEasy 4-6, if offensive line is fixed and Kubiak is the real deal.ā€

  • RB 7-9: ā€œLV needs some serious help up front before we see a top 5 seasonā€

Our take: RB 7-9 seems reasonable on volume alone. Raiders still have a lot of work to do to turn this thing around.

Alright, now let’s cover 5 of the most important insights from the past week.

Giddy up.

WR - Brandon Aiyuk (???)

šŸŽ 2-for-1 Special:

  • Aiyuk is coming off a major knee injury and faced controversy with the 49ers, including contentious contract negotiations and a near-trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite these challenges, he remains a highly talented player that several teams might be interested in signing to a one-year 'prove it' deal.

  • The author personally acquired Aiyuk in multiple leagues for a 2026 second-round rookie pick, viewing it as a low-risk, potentially high-reward investment. At 28 years old, Aiyuk still has potential to contribute significantly if he finds the right team and motivation.

  • While acquiring Aiyuk is risky, the potential upside outweighs the minimal cost. If he flames out, managers would have only wasted a second-round pick in a weak draft class. Conversely, if Aiyuk returns to form, he could be a league-winning acquisition for dynasty teams.

  • Aiyuk is facing a convergence of challenging factors including injuries, contract drama, and advancing age. While still talented, the article suggests his dynasty value is more tied to past production than future potential.

  • The recommendation is to sell Aiyuk, particularly if managers can pivot to a younger receiver or acquire a future first-round draft pick. His current value may be higher than his projected long-term contribution.

  • Dynasty managers are advised to be proactive in moving Aiyuk before his value potentially declines further, recognizing the mounting challenges to his sustained fantasy relevance.

Our take: Aiyuk is as polarizing as it gets, and I feel like there are still more questions than answers at this point.

Will Aiyuk be fantasy-relevant next season?

TE - Harold Fannin Jr. (CLE)

  • In his rookie season, Harold Fannin Jr. made an immediate impact by commanding a 22% target share and finishing with the fifth-best Utilization Score among tight ends, which was described as one of the best under-22 seasons ever seen at the position.

  • The article's analyst Ian has ranked Fannin as the TE4 overall in early 2026 fantasy rankings, placing him behind only Trey McBride, Brock Bowers, and Colston Loveland, highlighting his significant potential.

  • Fannin's performance was so impressive that he effectively pushed veteran David Njoku out of the Cleveland Browns' tight end plans, demonstrating his immediate ability to make an impact in the NFL.

  • Our take: Njoku is officially out of the picture, which paves the way for Fannin to build off of an impressive year 1. I snagged a few shares this past season, thinking they were dart throws. He has exceeded my expectations and then some. Love to see it.

WR - KC Concepcion (Rookie)

February 11, 2026
  • KC Concepcion is a dynamic wide receiver prospect from Texas A&M who began his collegiate career at North Carolina State, where he broke freshman records with 71 catches, 839 yards, and 10 touchdowns, while also contributing 41 carries for 320 rushing yards.

  • After transferring to Texas A&M, Concepcion had a breakthrough season, winning 1st Team All-SEC honors as a Wide Receiver, Return Specialist, and All-Purpose Player, and capturing the Paul Hornung Award as the most versatile player in college football. His playing style is characterized by exceptional quick-twitch ability, allowing him to play effectively both in the slot and occasionally on the outside.

  • Projected as a potential second-round NFL Draft pick, Concepcion is viewed as an exciting dynasty fantasy football prospect due to his versatility, ability to create sudden separation, and potential fit with teams like the Jets, Steelers, or Eagles. His playing style has been compared to Baltimore's Zay Flowers, with particular strengths in route running, return skills, and the ability to make plays after catching the ball.

  • Our take: I really love the breakdowns that Dynasty Nerds does on incoming rookies. They helped me snag Puka and McBride in recent years. My only note to add here is don’t forget about the ā€œcool nameā€ bump.

WR - Jalen Coker (CAR)

  • Jalen Coker made a strong case for increased value after a breakout 9-134-1 performance in the wild card round, with Panthers head coach Dave Canales explicitly stating Coker will be the #2 receiver entering the offseason.

  • Coker has demonstrated significant fantasy potential, being a strong WR2 fantasy play in four of the five games where he played at least 87% of the snaps last season, with potential stats potentially rivaling Tetairoa McMillan's next season.

  • The article recommends acquiring Coker by offering a 2026 late first-round pick in exchange for Coker and a 2027 second-round pick, suggesting he's a valuable dynasty asset on the rise.

  • Our take: I’ve been on the Coker bandwagon since Day 1. The story for the last 2 years has been: ā€œcan he get that #2 role?ā€ Canales coming out and declaring him the WR2 is a big moment. Now he just needs to keep it.

WR - Carnell Tate (Rookie)

  • Carnell Tate is a highly-anticipated wide receiver prospect from Ohio State, projected to be selected No. 5 overall by the Giants. He is part of a prestigious lineage of Ohio State wide receivers that includes Emeka Egbuka, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson, and Chris Olave, suggesting a strong pedigree of NFL talent.

  • Tate has a prototypical NFL wide receiver build at 6'2" and 195 pounds, positioning him as an immediate-impact player regardless of his draft destination. The article suggests he is a near-lock for a top-10 selection, with scouts and analysts expecting him to continue the impressive tradition of Ohio State wide receivers in the NFL.

  • If drafted by the Giants, Tate would potentially team up with Malik Nabers, creating what the article describes as 'one of the scariest duos in the league'. This potential pairing highlights Tate's perceived high-end potential and the excitement surrounding his NFL prospects.

  • Our take: I’ve seen Tate getting mocked to the Giants in a few places. And now I’m starting to get my hopes up as a Giants fan. For dynasty rookie drafts, he’s firmly in the top-5 pick consideration.

That’s all for tonight!

See ya pizza,

Joe
