Yooo!
We launched our consensus weekly rankings last night to help you with your weekly start/sit decisions! It includes 4 sources in the consensus as of now:
Sleeper PPR projections
FantasyPros PPR projections
NFL Fantasy PPR projections
Sportsline PPR projections
The plan is to update these every Wednesday along with our consensus dynasty rankings (eventually, these will all be updated daily).
Hope this is useful! Let us know if you have any feedback on ways we could make it better.
Enough small talk. Let’s get to 5 players trending down this week.

Note: all rankings mentioned below are from our NEW Consensus Weekly Rankings.
QB25 - Cam Ward (TEN)
Mentioned in: Podcast: 6 Biggest Dynasty WINNERS and LOSERS From First Month of NFL Season | BUY Drake Maye!
Cam Ward is struggling badly, ranking dead last among starters in fantasy scoring with just 7 points per game.
His 51% completion percentage is rock-bottom in the NFL, and he’s had single-digit fantasy points in three of his first four games.
The Titans’ offensive struggles run deep, with Calvin Ridley banged up and the run game ineffective, leaving Ward without help.
Frustrations are mounting as he looks nothing like his college self, though analysts urge patience while warning his dynasty stock is falling hard.
Our take: The Titans are bad, and I don’t see any signs of things turning around anytime soon. I think the organization is aware of this, though, and Ward will have a relatively long leash. You obviously can’t feel confident starting him right now, but he seems like a buy-low at the right price on potential alone.
RB31 - Isiah Pacheco (KC)
Mentioned in: Fantasy Football: A.J. Brown, Jordan Mason and 4 more players you should consider fading in Week 5
Isiah Pacheco's recent performance has been concerning, with four straight games of 10 or fewer carries and under 50 rushing yards. His Week 4 double-digit fantasy performance (11.8 points) was largely due to a fortunate receiving touchdown, masking an otherwise poor 4.5-point performance from his other contributions.
Pacheco's snap count has been particularly worrying, never exceeding 60% of offensive snaps this season and dropping to just 37.1% against the Ravens (while Kareem Hunt took 44.3%). The coaching staff's comments about increasing rookie Brashard Smith's involvement in the passing game further threatens Pacheco's already limited receiving opportunities.
The article suggests Pacheco is approaching 'droppable' territory and recommends trying to trade him while his value is artificially inflated from the Week 4 touchdown. The author considers him completely unstartable, even in a favorable matchup with Jacksonville, unless there's a major shift in Kansas City's offensive approach.
Our take: It’s hard to see Pacheco finding his way back to any sort of consistent fantasy relevance with competition from Hunt and Smith. If there’s anyone that thinks he could still be the Pacheco of old, I’d sell in a heartbeat.
WR36 - Cooper Kupp (SEA)
Mentioned in: Podcast: Washed or Not in Fantasy Football? Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast - Ep. 713
Once a fantasy darling, Cooper Kupp is now averaging just 7.8 points per game as WR55, leading analysts to say he is officially 'cooked.'
The Rams’ savvy front office moved on from him for good reason, and his age plus departure from Sean McVay’s system have exposed limitations.
Analysts note his success was fueled more by scheme than elite raw talent, and now in Seattle, he offers little trade value or spike-week upside for fantasy managers.
Our take: You could certainly do worse than Kupp, but he’s nothing more than a bye-week fill-in at this point in my eyes. I’d try to sell him as a “depth piece” to a contender where he’s more of a throw-in (rather than the main focus of the deal). That way, you could at least get some value for him.
RB12 - Derrick Henry (BAL)
Mentioned in: Fantasy Football: Jayden Daniels may not be a must-start in his return and 9 storylines that will define Week 5
Derrick Henry's situation has worsened with Lamar Jackson's injury and Cooper Rush taking over at quarterback. Henry has seen significantly reduced carries, with 12 or fewer carries in three out of four games this season - a dramatic shift from his 2024 usage pattern where this occurred only once in 17 games.
The Ravens' offensive efficiency with Henry has been heavily dependent on Lamar Jackson's dual-threat ability, which helped create rushing lanes and contributed to the team having the best yards before contact this year. The loss of Jackson's threat as a runner is likely to negatively impact Henry's efficiency.
With Cooper Rush under center and the Ravens having the 32nd-ranked scoring defense, Henry's outlook is concerning. The combination of low volume due to game script and reduced efficiency without Jackson's presence suggests Henry could continue to struggle in Week 5 and beyond.
Our take: I did not think we’d be talking about Henry as a player trending down after his incredible start to the season in Week 1. Crazy how quickly things can turn. I don’t really have any doubt about Henry’s ability, but the situational concerns mentioned above have me a little scared off from buying in leagues where I’m a contender.
WR - D.K. Metcalf (PIT) - bye week
Mentioned in : Podcast: 15 Transactions for Week 5
Despite a productive Week 4, D.K. Metcalf still hasn’t hit a 25% target share in any game (sits at 21% per game), raising sell-high flags.
In a dink-and-dunk offense with the league’s lowest aDOT QB, D.K. Metcalf needs volume to offset shallow usage — and JJ doubts that flips after the Week 5 bye.
Our take: This summary surprised me so I checked some of Metcalf’s other most recent summaries on our Dynasty Pulse Premium feeds to see what other experts are saying about him. Almost all of them suggest Metcalf is a sell candidate. Here’s another summary below from September 24 that makes some great points 👇️
DK Metcalf's transition to the Steelers has been disappointing despite the team trading a second-round pick and paying him like a top-5 receiver. Currently sitting as WR26 in fantasy, Metcalf's usage has been limited primarily to streaks and fades down the sideline, rather than being deployed as a true WR1.
The Steelers' offensive scheme under Arthur Smith has failed to maximize Metcalf's abilities, with the receiver showing success when given opportunities for yards after catch but not receiving enough of these chances. Instead, the offense has focused on tight end targets and checkdowns to running backs Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell.
Metcalf's immediate outlook is concerning with a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings (the toughest matchup for receivers in fantasy) followed by a Week 5 bye. Despite scoring touchdowns in consecutive games, his current usage pattern and upcoming schedule make him a strong sell candidate before this challenging stretch.
Our take (continued): I’d be looking to get out now as it’s hard to see his dynasty value going up much from here.
