WR - Xavier Worthy (KC)
Xavier Worthy is in the middle of his second year with the Chiefs, but has been a disappointment in fantasy football due to significant limitations in route-running. Like Rashee Rice, Worthy struggles to run static premier routes that effectively beat man coverage.
Worthy's success rate against man coverage is 60.2%, which places him in a similar category to Rice - effective in zone coverage but challenged when facing one-on-one defensive matchups. This limitation contributes to the Chiefs' broader offensive challenges in attacking man coverage.
The article suggests that Worthy, like other Chiefs receivers, represents a specific receiver archetype that requires scheme-based touches and formation manipulation to create mismatches, rather than being able to win consistently in direct one-on-one situations.
Our take: This is an interesting take I had not seen before regarding Worthy. We know Rice will get his schemed touches, which, unfortunately, often leaves Worthy as the afterthought. We have Worthy just below a 2026 Late 1st, and Iād sell for that price.
RB - Tyrone Tracy Jr. (NYG)
Mentioned in : Fantasy Football Snap Share Report: There are some concerning red flags for Travis Etienne Jr., even off 2-TD game
Tyrone Tracy Jr. is experiencing a challenging period with a near 50-50 snap split with Devin Singletary, despite being slightly more efficient in yards per touch. However, Tracy's touchdown opportunities are severely limited, with Singletary receiving all goal-to-go carries.
The coaching change did not benefit Tracy as expected, with interim head coach Mike Kafka actually leaning more heavily on Singletary in high-leverage situations. Tracy has managed only one touchdown across 101 total touches, highlighting his restricted fantasy potential.
The article dramatically describes Tracy as a 'hardcore SELL', comparing his fantasy prospects to a wrestling reference and suggesting that scoring touchdowns for his current offense would require 'divine intervention'.
Our take: We watched Tracy outplay Singletary pretty much all of last year and overtake the starting job. Then he loses the job to Skattebo. Now Skattebo is out and heās back to splitting carries and losing goal-line work to the guy he has consistently outplayed. Make it make sense. We have Tracy worth about a 2026 Early 3rd.
TE - Jake Ferguson (DAL)
Since CeeDee Lamb's return in Week 7, Jake Ferguson has experienced a significant drop in fantasy production, falling from the overall TE1 averaging 16.6 fantasy points per game to the TE22 averaging just 10 fantasy points per game.
In his last two games, Ferguson's performance has plummeted even further, dropping to TE51 with an average of only four fantasy points per contest, suggesting a clear decline in his fantasy relevance.
Ferguson faces a challenging matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have been extremely stingy against tight ends, yielding just 124 receiving yards on 16 receptions over their last four contests.
Our take: This is a good reminder that we really want to target TEs who are a top-2 option in their offense. The floor is just so much lower when there are other mouths to feed. Heās just above a 2026 Early 2nd in our ranks, and Iād probably sell for that price.
QB - Justin Herbert (LAC)
Mentioned in : Fantasy Football: 8 players you should buy or sell before Yahoo's default trade deadline
Herbert's fantasy production has suffered due to overwhelming injuries to the Chargers' offensive line, leading to struggles in putting up fantasy points in his recent games.
Despite a soft matchup against the Raiders after his Week 12 bye, Herbert faces challenging defensive matchups against the Eagles, Chiefs, and Texans - all top-10 defenses in limiting quarterback fantasy points.
The article suggests Herbert will likely be a risky low-end QB1 who is more probable to produce QB2 numbers due to constant pressure and a difficult remaining schedule.
Our take: This is a tough spot to be in if youāre a Herbert owner and a contender. Weāve seen the floor, and itās ugly. I have zero doubts about him long-term, and heās ranked 18 overall in our consensus rankings. If youāre going all-in this year, I wouldnāt blame you for selling. Just donāt sell low.
RB - Ashton Jeanty (LV)
Jeanty is facing a challenging Week 12 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, who allow the third-fewest PPR points to running backs, which could significantly limit his fantasy production.
His recent performance has been underwhelming, with experts pointing out he posted just seven rushing yards in his last game and has five finishes outside the top 20 RBs in ten games this season.
Multiple analysts predict Jeanty will disappoint fantasy managers, citing his poor offensive line support, inefficient running (averaging under 4.0 yards per carry in eight games), and the tough defensive matchup.
Our take: You can pretty much copy and paste our take on Herbert and put it here. Heās ranked 2 spots below Herbert (20 overall). I donāt doubt the talent. But itāll be tough to trust him down the stretch this year. Donāt sell low.
Thatās all for tonight!
See ya pizza,
Joe
