Last night, I asked you all: “Where will Olave finish in PPR this year?”

41.7% of you said, “WR 9-12”

Best subscriber comments:

  • WR 5-8: “I always wonder how much of Olave’s concussion issues were from his quarterback and offensive play caller putting him in vulnerable ‘hospital ball’ situations. (ex Bo Nix’s late pass to Pat Bryant). He’s an excellent route runner, seems more like a timing and rhythm type of thing, and I guess we’ll see if Shough can keep the him out of the medical tent this season.”

  • WR 9-12: “I think he can be in the top 10-12 conversation, but it'll really have to depend on Tyler Shough, in terms of both health and his progression as an NFL QB. Though did show promise last year, but the sophomore slump is real with NFL QB's once the teams have ample tape, as well as his injury history, which he definitely has. So we'll see.”

  • WR 9-12: “If he plays 17 games, WR12 has to be his floor. Guys I assume are ranked around him are in much worse situations and need so much to go right (London, Tate, GWill, etc.). He’s always had the talent and now he doesn’t have Derek Carr throwing him hospital balls. Tyson is very good, but I think that just opens things up more for Olave.”

Our take: I voted WR 5-8. I don’t see him outperforming Chase, Puka, JSN, or Amon-Ra. Everyone after that has at least 1 red flag that could cause them to fall. I think he could easily be the 4th best WR out of this next tier: Lamb, Jefferson, London, AJB, Rashee, Pickens, Nico because you’ve got some shaky QBs mixed in there, off the field issues, injury history, etc.

Alright, now let’s get to some news you might’ve missed this week.

Giddy up.

10K Steps Is a Myth–Try This Instead

When motivation is lacking, jumping into heavy routines is the fastest way to burn out. That’s why millions of people are turning to walking as the foundation of their fitness journey.

Walking lets you enjoy the outdoors, clear your head, and practice mindfulness. It’s simple, sustainable, and can support lasting weight loss if you know how much you need. The “10,000 steps a day” rule is outdated; everyone’s lifestyle is different.

With Simple, you’ll get access to habit-based coaching that’s helped users lose over 18 million pounds. Take the quiz to discover your personalized walking target.

Jared Goff (QB, DET): Jared Goff provides a remarkably consistent fantasy floor, finishing as a top-10 quarterback in each of the last four seasons with at least 4,400 passing yards and 29 touchdowns annually. (FantasyPros Latest Articles and Advice, 2026-08-05)

Jaxson Dart (QB, NYG): Jaxson Dart demonstrated elite fantasy production as a starter, averaging 22.5 fantasy points per game when excluding a single outlier performance, which would have ranked him as the QB1 overall. (PlayerProfiler Fantasy Football Podcast Network, 2026-08-05)

Terrance Ferguson (TE, LAR): His rapid ascent in camp usage makes him a high-priority deep sleeper target, with analysts recommending him as a draft-day value until his ADP reaches the 15th round. (Footballguys Fantasy Football Show, 2026-08-05)

David Montgomery (RB, HOU): David Montgomery is a high-priority target who is currently undervalued by the market, which incorrectly assumes his reduced workload in his previous role was due to physical decline. (RotoWire Fantasy Football With Theo Gremminger, 2026-08-05)

Harold Fannin (TE, CLE): In games without Njoku last season, Fannin demonstrated elite potential by averaging 15.1 PPR points per game with a 26% target share, proving he can produce as a primary option despite inconsistent quarterback play. (2026 Fantasy Football Advice – RotoBaller, 2026-08-05)

Dylan Sampson (RB, CLE): He ranks among the league's most efficient pass-catching running backs, posting elite metrics in yards per route run and target rate that compare favorably to top-tier starters at the position. (FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast, 2026-08-05)

Parker Washington is "topping the charts" in fantasy hype right now, and some sources say he's already Jacksonville's best target bet

Yahoo Sports reports Washington is "currently topping the charts" in fantasy buzz, with his ADP already climbing more than a full round above his current WR39 mark and room to "climb another round, two... maybe three in the coming weeks." Draft Sharks backs that up with substance, reporting Washington "has routinely been the top target for Trevor Lawrence in practice" and is "catching everything that is thrown in his direction," calling him Jacksonville's best target bet. FantasyPros ties it to a track record, noting Washington averaged "10.3 targets, 6.5 catches, and 113.5 yards per game" over the Jaguars' final four games last season, and projects a tough cornerback slate for Jacksonville's outside receivers could funnel even more targets his way.

Our take: I had to double-check the WR39 ADP flagged in this insight because it felt way too low. Sure enough, that seems to be the range about where he’s going. For context, some names going just after WR24 are Jameson, McLaurin, Evans, DJ Moore, Tate, Odunze. I wouldn’t be surprised if Parker outperformed all of them. Not saying he will, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Ashton Jeanty slimmed down for more explosiveness this offseason, and he's walking into a genuinely upgraded Raiders offense

Draft Sharks reports Jeanty changed his diet this offseason and is down to 207 pounds from his 211-pound Combine weight, citing Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, who wrote Jeanty "has thinned out... and is showing explosion and violence running without pads on." Pro Football Focus and Rotoworld Football Show both explain why that matters: Jeanty played behind an offensive line that graded third-lowest in the league last year, and Rotoworld notes his explosive rush rate ranked only 54th of 58 qualifying backs as a result. Despite that, PFF credits him with 61 forced missed tackles, fifth-most among all running backs, and the fourth-best PFF rushing grade among backs on carries where he got a clean release. Draft Sharks and PFF both point to the offseason addition of center Tyler Linderbaum as a direct upgrade to that line, Rotoworld separately cites a much-improved quarterback situation and play-calling around him, and PlayerProfiler goes a step further, projecting Jeanty for a true bell-cow role now that Kubiak is calling plays in Las Vegas.

Our take: Jeanty was RB11 last year in one of the worst offensive environments possible. Major upgrades were made to that offensive environment, and Kubiak has a history of turning around the run game when he joins a new team. All signs pointing way up for Jeanty.

Browns coach Todd Monken appears to be sticking with Deshaun Watson at QB1 despite six interceptions in four days, and CBS Sports still predicts he wins the job over Shedeur Sanders

CBS Sports reports Watson has shown "plenty of rust" through camp but says Monken appears to be giving him "the space to shake it off," and predicts Watson wins the Week 1 starting job. Locked On Browns disagrees sharply, saying there's "no way to sugar coat" a stretch that included six interceptions in four days and that Watson has "not looked anywhere near like the best quarterback on this roster." Orange and Brown Talk adds nuance from that same week of camp, reporting that Monken said Watson is still "ahead" of Sanders in overall command of the offense even after Sanders "made a lot of nice throws" in the same practice.

Our take: I’m more interested in this story over the next few weeks as it relates to the impact on the pass catchers, rather than the QB fantasy value. I wouldn’t feel good starting Watson or Shedeur, but with Shedeur at QB, I’d feel a little better about Fannin and the WR. Just think that Watson’s upside is capped and he’s probably washed, whereas Shedeur might be able to keep getting better.

Zay Flowers (WR, BAL)

❝

"Weighted Opportunity Projection puts him at WR11, while ADP has him at WR14... in a lot of leagues, he's going to be getting drafted in the 4th round... we're seeing him go in the 3rd round. And I'd be comfortable taking him in the 3rd round... Flowers over the last couple of seasons, he's had over 1,000 yards and over 1,200 yards receiving in back to back years, despite Baltimore consistently being near the bottom of the league in past attempts... Zay Flowers' target share has jumped every single season all the way to 29% last season... We've already heard from Jesse Minter... "he's not just a slot guy, he's not an outside guy, he's not just a gadget guy. He can do everything. I look forward to getting him the ball in as many ways as possible. The more that guy touches the ball, the better we'll be." That sounds like a team that wants to get Zay Flowers the ball a ton and everything in this offense will run through Zay Flowers."
