Note: all rankings mentioned below are from our NEW Consensus Weekly Rankings.

WR23 - Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI)

  • Harrison Jr. has shown significant improvement in his deployment, with a career-best 21.5% slot rate and 10.8-yard average depth of target (aDOT). OC Drew Petzing is finding more creative ways to get Harrison the ball, including an increased usage of screen passes.

  • The receiver is coming off a breakthrough performance where he scored over 20.0 PPR points, following two weeks of under 10 points. His touchdown celebration notably appeared more like relief than excitement, suggesting a weight lifted off his shoulders.

  • Harrison Jr. has a favorable matchup against the Titans in Week 5, facing a defense that has allowed top-16 finishes to three of four WR1s they've faced this season. Tennessee's defensive weaknesses align well with Harrison's strengths and on-field deployment, as demonstrated by similar receivers' success against them.

  • Our take: You’re probably starting him no matter what, but it would be nice to see him dominate in a soft matchup like we expect him to. I still believe in the talent long-term even though it doesn’t feel like he has lived up to his lofty expectations just yet.

WR - Jalen Coker (CAR) - OUT

  • Panthers GM Dan Morgan has confirmed Coker will take over the slot receiver role following the Adam Thielen trade, with Coker having run 61.1% of his rookie year routes from the inside according to Pro Football Focus. This aligns with his skill set while allowing Round 1 pick Tetairoa McMillan to work as the prototypical X receiver.

  • Coker is currently eligible to return from IR after suffering a quad injury, though he's not expected back for Week 5 or 6. However, when healthy, he's positioned to step into an immediate starting role as the Panthers desperately need a reliable second receiving option behind McMillan.

  • The opportunity for Coker is particularly appealing given Xavier Legette's early-season struggles and apparent trajectory toward being a Round 1 bust, with Legette also dealing with a hamstring injury. The article suggests Coker is worth stashing now in deeper formats, particularly leagues with 14+ teams, before he returns to action.

  • Our take: Coker fits the perfect mold of a bench piece that should be reasonably cheap to acquire but could become a weekly FLEX play consideration if everything breaks right. I’m taking the shot on him wherever I can.

WR38 - Stefon Diggs (NE)

  • Stefon Diggs made his first significant impact in Week 4, leading Patriots receivers in targets and surpassing 100 yards for the first time since 2023. While this performance came in a game where Drake Maye only attempted 17 passes, it represents a potential turning point for Diggs.

  • Diggs' snap share has shown consistent improvement each week as he continues to recover from his ACL injury, suggesting a gradual return to form. His increasing involvement in the offense is particularly noteworthy given his previous lack of noise in earlier weeks.

  • While the Patriots' low passing volume under Drake Maye presents concerns, the article suggests that any future uptick in the passing game would likely benefit Diggs more than any other receiver on the team, making him a player to watch despite the current offensive limitations.

  • Our take: I have Diggs in a few leagues, and it seems like they’ve been easing him to start the year. It feels like he’s close to 100% now and I’m hoping he builds off last week’s strong performance. I’m optimistic he’ll be a target hog the rest of the way.

WR51 - Isaiah Bond (CLE)

  • Isaiah Bond has shown promising early signs as a rookie, leading the Browns with 58 receiving yards in Week 4 and running 27 routes on Cleveland's 37 dropbacks. With Cedric Tillman now on IR, Bond has likely secured the Browns' No. 2 wide receiver role, positioning him for significant playing time going forward.

  • Bond's physical attributes and college performance suggest high potential, as he possesses 4.3 speed and currently leads the Browns in average separation. During his time at Texas, he demonstrated his efficiency by leading the team with 2.68 yards per route run, outperforming even first-round teammate Matthew Golden.

  • The Browns showed strong commitment to Bond despite his UDFA status, giving him an unprecedented $3 million guaranteed contract. Combined with head coach Kevin Stefanski's play-calling and the team's full-blown rebuild situation, Bond is positioned for significant opportunities, particularly with rookie QB Dillon Gabriel making his debut.

  • Our take: I’ll be watching Bond closely in the early London game this Sunday. He’s got a tough matchup against MIN with Gabriel making his 1st start, but that could create a low-cost buying opportunity in dynasty. The talent and the playing opportunity are there; we’ll see what he makes of it.

RB43 - Kendre Miller (NOR)

  • Kendre Miller has begun to take on a more prominent role in the New Orleans offense under new head coach Kellen Moore, demonstrated by his season-high 11 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Bills. His impressive 5.9 yards per carry showcased his power and contact balance as the thunder complement to Alvin Kamara's lightning in the Saints' backfield.

  • While Alvin Kamara remains the lead back despite declining efficiency (3.9 YPC this season), Miller has earned a consistent role siphoning early-down opportunities. The coaching staff appears to be transitioning Miller into a larger role while Kamara handles most of the passing-down work.

  • Miller's performance suggests he could be the heir apparent to Kamara should the veteran's decline continue. His Week 4 showing demonstrated he can produce effectively in this role and offense, making him an intriguing stash for fantasy managers looking ahead.

  • Our take: He’s not getting enough playing time to fully trust him in your starting lineups just yet (unless your desperate for a bye-week fill-in). But his arrow is pointing up. Will be interesting to see if he gets even more work this weekend. There have been rumors about Kamara getting trading, too. He could be a sneaky RB2 in the back-half of the year (with long-term upside as well).

🥇 Best subscriber comment: “I doubt the Bills are trading Allen for Danny Dimes”

Our take: I’m a NYG fan, so this stat annoys me. I don’t know why I put it in the newsletter. It’s just a reminder of how bad we’ve been.
