Our take: All of these players below have some things going their way this week that could lead to performances above their norm. They might not be the best options on your roster, but they are worth a long look.
RB - Woody Marks (HOU)
Woody Marks practiced fully and is coming off a 28-touch performance last week with Nick Chubb dealing with injury, positioning him as the clear lead back for Cleveland.
The matchup against Arizona is highly favorable, ranking as a top-four easiest running back matchup with six running backs hitting 14 plus PPR points against them over the last five weeks.
While Marks frustratingly only gets about one target per game despite being a capable pass catcher, he has running back one potential this week as a fresh-legged rookie with big play ability and touchdown upside in an excellent matchup.
WR - Brian Thomas Jr. (JAX)
Mentioned in: Bold fantasy football predictions for Week 15
Despite an unusual Week 14 performance with 87 scoreless yards and an extremely high average depth of target (25.8 air yards), Brian Thomas Jr. is positioned to re-enter the WR2 discussion against the Jets.
Thomas is highlighted as Jacksonville's best receiver against man coverage, with the Jets still running man defensive concepts at the fourth-highest rate in the league, creating potential matchup advantages.
The article suggests Thomas and Trevor Lawrence are building chemistry, with expectations of Thomas breaking into the end zone and returning to the top-24 wide receivers in Week 15.
TE - Theo Johnson (NYG)
Johnson has been consistently targeted in the Giants' offense, achieving five TE1 finishes in PPR leagues this season, including three TE1 finishes since Week 9.
In Week 15, Johnson faces the Washington Commanders, who rank 30th in DVOA against tight ends and allow the sixth-most PPR points to the position.
The potential for a high-scoring game between these two teams creates additional opportunities for Johnson to find the end zone, making him an attractive streaming option for fantasy managers seeking a tight end in the playoff matchup.
RB - Zach Charbonnet (SEA)
Zach Charbonnet is emerging as a potential fantasy sleeper for Week 15, despite being the backup to Kenneth Walker in the Seattle Seahawks' backfield. He has demonstrated consistent performance, hitting at least 35 rushing yards in each of his last five games and accumulating eight touchdowns this season.
The Seahawks are expected to have a potentially dominant game against the injury-riddled Colts, which could create favorable running conditions for Charbonnet. Experts predict he will likely see close to 10 touches in the game, with a strong likelihood of scoring.
Charbonnet's role in the Seahawks' offense continues to be significant, with analysts noting his potential for both rushing yards and touchdown opportunities in what could be a blowout win for Seattle.
TE - Juwan Johnson (NOR)
Since Week 9, with Tyler Shough as quarterback, Juwan Johnson has emerged as the TE8 in fantasy points per game, showcasing a 17.3% target share and averaging 49.2 receiving yards per game with an impressive 1.94 yards per route run.
Johnson has been particularly effective against single high defensive formations, posting a 20.6% target share, 1.75 yards per route run, and a 22.9% first-read share since Week 9, indicating his strategic value in specific defensive schemes.
Facing the Carolina pass defense this week, Johnson is positioned as a potential TE1 option, as the Panthers have shown weaknesses by allowing the sixth-most receiving yards per game and the tenth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
That’s all for tonight!
See ya pizza,
Joe
