Yooo!

A lot has changed in a week. The news has been nonstop:

  • Combine risers and fallers

  • Free agency news

  • Franchise tags

  • Trade rumors

Let’s get you caught up.

In case you missed it, we dropped the newsletter cadence down to 1x per week for the early part of the offseason.

We’re working on some big updates to the website and can’t wait to share them with you as we make progress!

In the meantime, you can expect our newsletters to land in your inbox every Wed at 9pm EST up until the NFL draft (late April). We’ll increase the newsletter cadence again after that.

Last week, I asked you all: “What would you be willing to pay to acquire Tyler Allgeier?”

23.7% of you said “Early 3rd”

Best subscriber comments:

  • Early 2nd: “If I had wee RBs and I really needed to gamble on another RB I'd probably start with a late 2nd round to see if the Allgeier's owner was interested, and I might be willing to give up something all the way to pick 11 if I had to. I could change my opinion once all the combine & draft hype hits us soon, but right now I don't trust this draft class that much.”

  • Mid 2nd: “Other than Love, He has just as good of a chance or better to lead a backfield in 2026 as any rookies.”

  • Early 3rd: “He will definitely have less RB competition than Bijan, but maybe it's a different coach blocking his way. Perhaps he's seen as nothing more than a handcuff on his new team?”

Our take: I imagine that first comment saying “wee RBs” was a typo but had to leave it in there lol. I value him in the mid-late 2nd range, but would try to get him for that early 3rd. If this chart tells you anything, it’s that you should at least test the waters in your league to see what his value is.

Alright, now let’s cover 4 of the most important pieces of news from the past week.

Giddy up.

Shouting out some great content in the industry:

Instead of summarizing one article for each player below, I’m pulling in a sneak peek from our new website… we’re calling this section the Pulse Check.

Previously, all summaries on the site were one-offs for each article, podcast, or video. Even with those shortened summaries, that’s a lot to read.

The Pulse Check takes EVERYTHING into account from 100+ sources to give you the executive summary of what is being said about that player at any point in time.

It’s going to live on every player page moving forward. Coming soon :)

QB - Anthony Richardson (IND)

(Insights from 9 articles and 11 videos)

  • Anthony Richardson has been granted permission to seek a trade from the Colts.

  • Despite the trade rumors, Richardson has been cleared to play and is expected to be ready for the offseason program in April, with medical documentation showing he has regained 20/20 vision in both eyes.

  • Several teams are rumored to have interest in Richardson, including the Vikings, Eagles, Browns, Cardinals, Steelers, and Chiefs, with the Vikings initially showing the strongest interest.

  • The Colts are reportedly seeking to trade Richardson before the draft, potentially freeing up $5 million in cap space.

  • Some analysts are highly skeptical of Richardson's future as a starting quarterback in the NFL, citing his injury history and lack of development, while others highlight his athleticism and potential as a 'box office' player.

  • Acquiring Richardson would only give a team one season to evaluate him, as his fifth-year option is likely to be declined, requiring a team with an unstable QB situation to give him a long look.

  • Some analysts even suggest he has 'no hope' for significant fantasy impact and could end up as a career backup.

  • Our take: Glad to hear he can see again. Seems important for a QB. This poll was a HOT request this past week. Will share my thoughts when the poll results are revealed next issue. Give us your take below 👇️

QB - Kyler Murray (ARI)

(Insights from 10 articles and 10 videos)

  • The Cardinals plan to release Kyler Murray unless a trade is finalized before the league year begins. Murray's camp has also expressed a desire for this release, allowing him to find a new team.

  • The Cardinals' decision to move on from Murray will save them approximately $36.8 million in guaranteed funds in 2026 and an additional $19.5 million in 2027 if he is not on the roster by March 16.

  • The Jets are the favorites to sign Murray (+100 odds), with the Vikings, Falcons, Steelers, Dolphins, and Browns also mentioned as possibilities; Minnesota is considered a strong possibility, potentially offering veteran competition to J.J. McCarthy, while the Jets seek a proven quarterback to win now. Murray's camp reportedly indicated interest in Minnesota, viewing it as a place where he could be a starter and play for Kevin O'Connell.

  • Despite a down year and injury history, Kyler Murray is considered a valuable dynasty asset, with his ADP falling to QB26, presenting a buying opportunity. His career average of over 17 fantasy points per game and significant rushing upside provide a safe floor, especially after recovering from his ACL tear. Analysts believe a move to a quarterback-friendly system could help him re-emerge as a top-10 or top-12 fantasy quarterback, making him a safer and more affordable option than other available quarterbacks.

  • Our take: Obivously landing spot will play a big role in his future dynasty value, but I’m optimistic about a change of scenery for Kyler. I would feel pretty happy with him as my QB2 regardless of where he ends up (mainly because of the top-10 upside he possesses).

TE - Kenyon Sadiq (Rookie)

(Insights from 6 articles and 14 videos)

  • Kenyon Sadiq's elite athleticism, demonstrated by a record-setting 4.39 40-yard dash at 241 lbs, a 43.5-inch vertical, and exceptional broad jump, has solidified him as the top tight end prospect in the 2026 class.

  • His physical profile is considered 'unicorn-like' and draws comparisons to elite athletes like Vernon Davis and even wide receivers such as Julio Jones and Calvin Johnson.

  • This athleticism is expected to translate to creating mismatches against linebackers and safeties, and potentially allow him to function as a slot receiver.

  • Sadiq's draft stock has surged, with projections now placing him as a potential top-10 to top-15 NFL draft pick, with some analysts suggesting he could be a top-20 selection.

  • Despite his elite athletic profile, Sadiq's college production is viewed as somewhat low for a top tight end prospect, with 51 receptions for 560 yards and 8 TDs in his last season, and a 40 receiving yards per game average. His dominator rating is also considered low, presenting a difficult decision for some dynasty managers.

  • Several NFL teams are identified as potential landing spots or trade-up targets for Kenyon Sadiq, including the Rams, Broncos, Commanders, Saints, Dolphins, Ravens, Buccaneers, and Texans. His versatility and playmaking ability make him a fit for schemes utilizing multiple tight ends or needing a 'Joker' role player. Some analysts believe teams may draft him even if they have an established tight end or consider him as a slot receiver.

  • Our take: We all know that athleticism isn’t a lock for success in the NFL, but it sure helps. Hard not to walk away from the combine more excited about Sadiq. The lack of production in college is concerning, though. I’m buying, but will be conscious about not overpaying.

QB - Malik Willis (FA)

(Insights from 16 articles and 4 videos)

  • Malik Willis is projected to be the top free agent quarterback, with a robust market and a contract expected to range between $20-30 million annually, potentially reaching $30+ million, with guarantees around $35 million on a two-year deal.

  • Teams like the Cardinals, Dolphins, Steelers, and Jets are considered potential landing spots, with Arizona offering familiarity with new HC Mike LaFleur's system and Miami having coaching connections to Willis from Green Bay. The Vikings are reportedly priced out of his market, and his signing will impact the fantasy value of his new teammates, especially pass-catchers.

  • Willis demonstrated significant improvement as a backup in Green Bay, earning an 85.8 overall PFF grade and strong passer/runner marks, with a 5:1 big-time throw to turnover-worthy play ratio in 118 dropbacks. His elite PFF grades in 2025 (92.3 offense, 90.8 passing, 80.3 rushing) and exceptional passing efficiency metrics (8.3% big-time throw rate, 0.0% turnover-worthy rate, 12.1 yards per pass attempt) suggest QB1 fantasy potential if he becomes a starter.

  • However, his prior two seasons in Tennessee were underwhelming (49.2 overall grade, 39.0 passing mark), and his limited career passing attempts (155) and six career starts raise questions about his readiness as an NFL starter.

  • Some analysts view him more as a high-end backup than a future starter, with two teams with 'elite-minded head coaches' not committing to him as a starter. Fantasy managers holding Willis are advised to capitalize on the current hype and sell him, while others suggest holding him as a fascinating dynasty asset due to his rushing ability.

  • Our take: I would not buy Malik with the expectation that he’ll be a future starter for years to come. I’d be willing to take a shot on him if I could get him for less than a 1st. It feels like Malik has more interest/value than Kyler at the moment, but I’d still prefer Kyler.

That’s all for tonight!

See ya pizza,

Joe
